This project involved the redesign of a disco in the province of Parma and in particular one of its bars. As often happens in our work, we focused our attention on a single “effect” by choosing to emphasize the bar itself and the area behind it. We looked for something that could somehow remind of ice, be very “attractive” to the customer and be relevant to the place it belonged to: the disco, with its lights and its effects. The chosen surface, within a precise and essential design, is tempered and deliberately broken glass, held together by an outer transparent shatterproof sheet and an inner mirror. The hidden lighting helped to brighten the installation, obtaining a huge success.
